Kunal Ghosh is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur who leads Inscopix as CEO. His company provides solutions in neurological imaging and predictive systems for assessing the efficacy of specific neurotherapeutics prior to clinical trials. The platform Kunal Ghosh has developed provides a better understanding of the ways that compounds interact with the brain.

Dr. Ghosh’s approach at Inscopix includes three stages, starting with mapping brain circuitry by analyzing thousands of neurons as they interact in real time. These activities are visualized in such a way that patterns can be decoded and the firing of circuits classified in terms of normal and disease states. Finally, compounds are screened with these models and predictions are made about whether a specific compound holds a high probability of success or failure within a clinical setting.

Dr. Ghosh’s resume includes a short stint at McKinsey & Company in the early 2000s. He earned his PhD in electrical engineering at Stanford University in 2010 and formulated many of his core innovations while a graduate student.
